Our client is a national marine, piling and civils contractor currently delivering a major marine project in Tasmania.

This project will run until then end of 2026 and consists of concrete, steel, piling and bridges. Due to the size and nature of this project applicants must have experience on projects $40M+ and be familiar with heavy plant including cranes, piling rigs as well as rigging.

This position requires a Safety Adviser with previous heavy civils experience, ideally piling and or r/c structures, with the majority of your time being on site with the usual safety administration whilst reporting to senior management.

Our client welcomes applicants with 5+ yrs experience in either the piling, structures, marine or heavy civils sectors.

They are ideally seeking a Tasmanian based applicant, however they will consider this role on a fifo basis from the East Coast.

The successful candidate will possess the following-

• Minimum Cert 4 or Diploma in OH&S or similar
• Minimum 5+yrs Civils project experience
• Australian experiences essential
• Structures / Piling / Marine experience advantageous
• Project experience $40M+
• Site based project experience NOT office based
• Contractor experience essential
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to communicate at all levels including client facing
• Confident in your ability
