As part of our continuous growth, we are looking for hard-working, high achievers to join our team as sales consultants. Though many of our people love to cycle, you don’t have to be a bike expert as we offer complete on-the-job training and support, plus our own leadership training – The Leadership Academy. More important to us is someone who is an excellent team player and can build great long-term trust and relationships with our customers. We’ll be looking to you to provide exceptional service so we can deliver on our vision of being ‘The World’s Most Approachable Bike Shops’.

Our high achievers win awards at our regular events and the top 10% of high achievers are awarded a ticket to attend our annual conference the Global Gathering in places like Whistler, Canada and Hakuba in Japan.

Our teams work closely together, competing for 99 Bikes store awards, pitching in to help charities and community groups and hosting our own community events such as our Electric Bike Demo Days. Every team has regular daily, weekly and monthly meetings, and team leaders have a one-on-one chat with each team member every month to share information, and help them achieve their potential. Leaders will accommodate personal needs when rostering as much as possible, some flexibility is available and there is plenty of weekend work if desired.

We have a Leadership Academy with 7 structured programs to nurture our future and current leaders. Successful applicants will be fast-tracked into a 2IC position alongside an experienced leader and will start in our Leadership Academy immediately.

Join a close knit team environment with regular communication rhythms like Weekly Business Meetings and 1 on1 coaching/development. Track and celebrate team and individual achievements daily / weekly / monthly.

Consultants, 2ICs and Team Leaders earn a base salary with uncapped commissions. Team Leaders earn a share of store profits and are offered ownership in their store. For the last 3 years Team Leader earnings have averaged over $100k.

Our Team Leaders are Business Owners who are given autonomy and decision making ability. They lead their teams performance, culture and take ownership of successes and failures. Every year our top achievers are rewarded with an overseas global event.

About 99 Bikes

Everton Park, QLD, Australia

We opened the doors of our first shop in May 2007. The Milton shop was led by Matt Turner and was a small 170m2 - only fitting 99 bikes into the building.

A team of four kept the shop open seven days a week, twelve hours a day with one tiny room tripling as a workshop, office and stock room.

The integral team grew to 8 as our Milton shop flourished and our second shop was opened in Underwood. Most of the original team are still with us today.

Matt continued to use the advice of his father, Graham ‘Skroo’ Turner to evolve systems and processes in alignment with Flight Centre - a business model which has demonstrated success since 1981.
