The Opportunity

Our client is a well-established retailer specialising in high-end audio visual equipment and home entertainment systems.

With a freshly refurbished store and a renewed focus on customer experience and team performance, they’re now searching for an experienced Retail Sales Manager to lead their Malaga location.

This is a full-time, hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone with retail management experience, a passion for AV technology, and the drive to lead a small team by example. You’ll play a key role in-store operations, sales growth, inventory management, and motivating a close-knit team of three.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Drive in-store sales of AV and home entertainment products
• Manage and mentor a team of three, including staff scheduling and supervision
• Oversee daily store operations including open/close, reporting, and balancing (9-5) 5 days some Saturdays
• Maintain tidy and well-organised store and warehouse environments
• Handle inventory control, stock ordering, and vendor coordination
• Process sales using Sympac POS
• Ensure every customer receives expert advice and a high-quality experience
• Support outbound sales efforts and quoting for site visits when required

What We’re Looking For

✔️ Retail management experience, ideally in audio visual or electronics (e.g. JB Hi-Fi, The Good Guys, Harvey Norman)
✔️ Strong knowledge of AV products and a genuine interest in the latest tech
✔️ Proven ability to lead and motivate a small team
✔️ Confident with inventory systems and retail admin
✔️ Customer-first mindset with a passion for problem-solving and product matching
✔️ Reliable, consistent, and capable of making decisions and taking ownership

The Package

• Base Salary: Up to $90K + Commission
• Roster: 5 days per week including Saturdays (with rotating roster days off)
• Hours: 9am to 5pm daily (store closes at 5pm)
• Location: Malaga, WA
