Role 1: Machine Operator
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pre-starts on machines, completing daily maintenance and reporting
Test the operation of machines periodically
Including but not limited to Cut and fill, final trim, trenching, placement of material
Use of attachments, auger, spreader bar, Harley rake and more
Ability to operate machines for the given purpose independently and within a team
Floating and moving machinery, materials and tools around to project sites and for servicing
Be Fit and able to jump in with the team on the tools when required

You will operate the company's modern and well-maintained machines, including

1.7 -2.5 and 5.5 Tonne excavators

RT60 and RT40 ASV Positrack skidsteers

Tipper Hino 500 series

You will have support from our internal maintenance person

Qualifications:

Full and unrestricted MR license as a minimum HR would be highly valued

Have appropriate up-to-date tickets and licenses for all machinery

Working with children's checks

Current first aid is highly valued

Construction induction

Experience:

Applicants will require a minimum of 5 years of experience and hold tickets to operate Excavators, Skid steers, Rollers as a minimum and all other handheld machinery/tools associated with commercial landscaping and civil sectors.

Operators with extensive experience in precision grade work and excavation on commercial/civil sites who can also operate machinery in confined/limited access environments and are fluent in using grade lasers will be regarded highly.

Civil and or landscaping experience is a must.
Having experience using online reporting systems will be highly regarded

Skills:
Excellent Understanding of Earthworks and landscaping operations.

Ability to read and understand plans.

Physical stamina and strength.

Role 2: Experienced labourer or Qualified Landscaper 4th year +

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

In charge of area/ specific tasks on site- not the whole project

Complete set daily tasks

Mentoring Apprentices or junior staff if they are working on a task alongside you.

The ability to read and understand plans without support is a huge plus and will be highly valued.

Can work independently and in a team when required.

Takes direction from management

Ability to communicate effectively with upper management when needed.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications:

Cert III horticulture landscaping or equivalent (for apprenticeship role)

Machine tickets highly valued

Working with children's check

Current first aid is highly valued

Construction induction

Experience:

A Minimum 3 years in the landscaping industry or similar industry experience.

Skills:

Experience with all aspects of hard and soft landscape and will need to be competent and skilled in, specifically but not limited to;

Concreting and paving,

Carpentry/decking,

synthetic grass laying,

machine operation,

set-out plan, reading etc,

Soft landscaping

Irrigation
