About the Role

We are seeking Expressions of Interest for an experienced GIS & Digital Senior Engineer reporting to the PMO Lead, the GIS and Digital Senior Engineer will be responsible for the planning, development, and maintenance of the project's GIS system and Digital Engineering solution. The role includes identifying variances, tracking progress, and effectively reporting on risks to ensure alignment with project objectives.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience on large-scale energy or linear infrastructure projects as a GIS or Digital Engineer, with Transmission experience being viewed very favourably. You will be capable of managing GIS data and specialised software such as ARC GIS, QGISm with capability across digital twins and BIM. Your communication skills will be excellent, allowing you to engage with everyone from technical experts through to senior management and external stakeholders. You will have a tertiary qualification in Engineering, and post-graduate GIS studies will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare and plan the strategy for digital engineering and GIS management for future transmission projects.
· Be aware of current developments in digital engineering and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), implementing innovative solutions when beneficial to projects.
· Engage with external parties, preparing scope of works and contracting different services in accordance with business needs.
· Ensure projects are compliant with all applicable regulatory frameworks.
· Help and assess internal decisions from a digital engineering point of view.
