About the team and role:

The Leadership & Organisational Development team offers a range of sector leading capability and leadership development programs designed to build capability and transferable skills across the employee lifecycle.

Focus areas include:​

  • Leadership and capability development including program delivery, coaching and mentoring​
  • Employee lifecycle support
  • Career development; performance, career pathways and academic promotions​
  • Recognition and Reward; employee experience​
  • Digital learning; compliance modules

The Coordinator, Leadership & Organisational Development collaborates with the L & OD teams and the broader People and Culture portfolio to support to all programs and initiatives designed to build capable leaders and engaged team members. The Coordinator provides hands-on support to enable effective delivery of the people strategy through the effective planning and delivery of workshops, resources and materials and communications both internally and externally.

As a Coordinator, you will:

  • Work with team members to coordinate all organisational development programs, initiatives and supporting materials to meet set objectives
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders (including vendors) and program participants in a timely and effective way
  • Identify and collaborate on system and process improvement opportunities
  • Provide dedicated coordination of programs across the employee lifecycle
  • Collaborates with the team to define the processes, tasks and resources required to achieve team goals

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • A Degree with substantial subsequent relevant experience; or
  • Extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields; or
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Extensive experience in administration and related activities in a large and complex organisation
  • Experience in project management and ability to manage stakeholders to achieve project outcomes
  • Experience within the higher education sector (highly desirable)
