About the role

This is a full-time role as a Greenkeeper / Groundsperson at the Cumberland Country Golf Club in Greystanes, NSW. You will be responsible for maintaining the pristine condition of the golf course and surrounding grounds to ensure an exceptional experience for members and visitors.

What you'll be doing

Perform daily maintenance tasks on the golf course, including mowing, course set up and grooming bunkers.

Operate and maintain various grounds keeping equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, and aerators

Assist with the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems

Monitor and adjust water usage to ensure efficient and sustainable practices

Identify and address any issues or hazards on the course or grounds

Collaborate with the wider grounds team to ensure a cohesive and coordinated approach to course maintenance

Provide excellent customer service to members and visitors

What we're looking for

At least 1 year of experience in a greenkeeping or landscaping role, preferably within a golf course or similar outdoor environment

Strong knowledge of turf management, including fertilization, aeration, and pest/weed control

Proficient in the operation and maintenance of various grounds keeping equipment

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

A passion for maintaining pristine outdoor spaces and a commitment to delivering exceptional results

A valid driver's license.
