About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administration Officer to join the Trainee Medical Officer Unit (TMOU) at CALHN. In this key role, you will coordinate the administrative functions for a dedicated medical portfolio, supporting Interns and Trainee Medical Officers across the network. Working with limited direction, you’ll contribute to the efficient recruitment, rostering, retention, and day-to-day management of TMOs, including support for International Medical Graduates.
You will collaborate closely with senior clinical and administrative leaders across CALHN and external stakeholders such as SA MET, AHPRA, SASMOA, and the Department of Health & Wellbeing. Your role will include developing and maintaining medical rosters, supporting recruitment and rotation planning, leave management, and ensuring compliance with the SA Health Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement. About You
You are a highly motivated and organised professional with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. You thrive under pressure, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality improvement. Your excellent communication skills enable you to liaise effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage priorities, workloads, deadlines, and complex documentation efficiently.
Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus and experience in confidential environments.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and computerised data management systems, with rostering experience.
Sound knowledge of WHS principles, organisational structures, and quality management practices.
