Psychologist - Moonee Ponds
(Employed positions, 3-5 days per week)
About the Position
One of our much-loved team members is heading off on maternity leave (with a solid handover of paediatric clients), and we’re looking for someone to step into her role—and stay. This is a permanent, ongoing position with an immediate client base and a warm, supportive team that lives and breathes the Solution Psychology spirit.
We’re seeking a psychologist who brings energy, insight, and a deep commitment to delivering outstanding client care. At Solution Psychology, we value professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, are proactive in their practice, and take pride in being part of a high-performing team.
Our clinic offers strong systems, full admin support, and leadership opportunities, with regular supervision, peer consultation, and internal CPD. Whether you’re working towards endorsement or looking to deepen your clinical niche, we’re here to support your growth.
While we see clients across the lifespan, this role has a strong paediatric focus. We’re especially interested in a psychologist who is confident working with early childhood presentations and supporting parents and families through assessment, intervention, and collaboration with schools or other care providers.
This is a part-time or full-time employed position, and we’re ready to work with you to shape a role that fits your experience, passions, and goals.
If you’re ready to join a team where your contribution is valued and your work makes a real impact—we’d love to hear from you.
A peek into what being a part of Solution means:
- A structured induction program, including a dedicated mentor for your first six months, led by our training and development lead.
- Individual and group supervision with a team of board-approved supervisors, with opportunities for endorsement (onsite clinical and educational and developmental board-approved supervisors).
- Daily speed supervision—an opportunity to discuss cases that need immediate assistance or debriefing.
- Fortnightly peer supervision and lunchbox sessions.
- In-house professional development activities in addition to a personal CPD & supervision budget.
- Quarterly development meetings and support to establish your own niche area if desired.
- Opportunities to gain experience working with a wide range of clinical presentations.
- Opportunity for outreach work in schools (from half to one day a week, assessment or therapy).
- Opportunity to be involved in making a difference in rural and remote Victoria by joining our Solution Outreach program.
- Support from a structured leadership team, including a full-time onsite principal psychologist.
- Support to deliver group interventions and assessments if desired, led by our programs lead and assessments lead.
- Industry-best systems, processes, and administrative support.
- Annual team retreat and quarterly planning days (we close the clinic five days a year to invest in team connection and growth).
- Clear and transparent salary structure and career progression pathway from early career to management.
