A global high traffic ecommerce marketplace is currently seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
We're looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer who will serve as the frontline defense and ultimate problem-solver when things go wrong.- The go-to person for maintaining website uptime/ outages or if the site gets hacked.

Responsibilities:

• Own system uptime and availability across cloud infrastructure and services.
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortems.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure and services at scale, utilizing a wide variety of cutting edge technologies used to support high-traffic real-time
• Manage and optimize production environments in AWS.
• Harden and monitor Linux-based systems for performance and security.
• Design and deliver mission critical services and systems working side-by-side with software engineers

Key Skills / Experience:

• 5-7 years experience in a SRE/ Devops Engineering roles
• High traffic platform experience
• Strong security-focused mindset
• Strong Linux experience
• Strong AWS
• Experience with any container services
• Terraform, puppet and ansible
• University Degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or related field)
• Similar high traffic ecommerce marketplace experience desirable!
