What we’re looking for
We’re on the hunt for a Senior Platform Engineer with technical and personal skills to work with our Australian based customers. You will have deep experience in creating and maintaining Azure cloud infrastructure using an infrastructure as code approach while embracing an internal developer platform (IDP) approach to servicing enterprise applications teams.

You will often be working as a consultant and therefore experience working in this capacity with enterprises is important to being successful in the job.

Responsibilities

The role is responsible for:

Working with customers in a consulting capacity,

End to end development of cloud infrastructure,

Drafting technical designs for implementation,

Contributing to DevOps / Platform standards,

Contributing to Security standards,

Being a leading contributor of a Scrum team,

Mentoring consultant and analyst level engineers,

Being a domain expert in platform Engineering, and

Keeping up to date with platform technologies, especially Microsoft relates

Mandatory Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering

Optional Qualifications

Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps related Certifications,

Vendor certifications for Platforms Engineering including Bicep, Terraform or other, or

Scrum Master

Mandatory Experience

Networking,

Virtualisation,

Logging, monitoring and alerting platforms,

Security directories (AD) & access control,

Windows and Linux Servers,

Documentation,

CI/CD tools and pipelines including YAML,

Infrastructure as Code Solutions (ARM Templates, Bicep or Terraform),

Container and container orchestration platforms (e.g. Kubernetes),

Working as part of a customer consulting team, and

Delivering software through a scrum framework

Bonus Experience

Cloud Infrastructure Management and Cost-optimisation,

Designing and developing resilient and secure consumptions patterns for cloud services,

Bash / PowerShell,

Technology consulting,

Scaled Agile delivery,

Large digital transformation programs, or

Finance industry
