CONTRACT TYPE: Full-time (Part-time considered for the right applicant)
SALARY RANGE: $90-100k annual (inc. super)
LOCATION: Work-from-home role located within Australia
Australian fish habitat charity, OzFish, inspires, supports and mobilises recreational fishers, and other passionate locals, to take action to restore local waterways.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you passionate about fishing, community, and protecting the places we love to wet a line? OzFish is on the lookout for a motivated and people-focused Engagement Manager to help grow and support our national network of chapters and members, and increase volunteering opportunities.
You’ll be working in the engine room of our movement — leading strategies to recruit and retain members, responding to the needs of our growing chapters, and making sure every OzFisher feels supported, informed and inspired to take action for fish and habitat.
This role is all about connecting people and building momentum. From planning events and answering questions, to fine-tuning membership journeys and getting the best out of our CRM, you’ll be the go-to person for making sure our members have a great experience.
WE'RE AFTER SOMEONE WHO:
Knows how to speak the language of recreational fishers and can communicate in a way that drives engagement.
Brings experience managing memberships, events, or volunteer programs (ideally in a not-for-profit or member-based setting).
Is confident using CRMs and understands how good data helps deliver better outcomes.
Is highly organised, proactive and loves working with people from all walks of life.
Wants to be part of a team that’s hands-on, mission-driven and doing real work for better fishing and waterways across Australia.
If you’re a great communicator with strong people skills, a knack for community-building, and an appreciation for the power of a good fishing yarn — we want to hear from you.
Join us and help grow the grassroots movement that's changing the future for Australia’s fish, and the fishers who love them.
