Residential Care Youth Worker Sleepover Line

About the role:
Junction has six residential units in Wodonga and one in Wangaratta, providing vital support to adolescents under child protective orders. Collaborate with a dedicated team to help residents achieve their goals through individualized Care and Placement Plans, ensuring a safe and supportive living environment.
The High Support Residential Units provide medium to long term accommodation for adolescents aged 12 to 17 years who are on child protective orders through the Department of Families Fairness & Housing.

Night shift loading - Earn 15% extra Monday to Friday on top of your base wages!
Sleepover allowance - Pocket $72.33 per shift, above award rates! (Award rate: $57.99)
Overtime perks - Woken up during sleepover hours for more than 30 minutes? You'll be paid Time-and-a-half for the first 2 hours and Double Time after that
Weekend bonuses - Saturday earn 50% extra (1.5 x base pay) and Sunday earn 100% extra (2.0 x base pay)
Extra leave - work over 10 weekends in a year (Saturday or Sunday and enjoy an extra week of annual leave on your anniversary
We have 2 vacant positions available:
Sleepover line:
58 hours per fortnight
58.5 hours per fortnight
The Sleepover Model:
Worked hours: 5.00 pm – 11.00 pm
Sleepover hours: 11.00 pm – 7.00 am
Worked hours: 7.00 am – 9.00 am
What do you need?
Minimum qualification of Certificate IV in Child Youth & Family Intervention or similar such as Youth Work, Welfare, or Community Services. Please view our application pack (on our website) for further qualifications that meet the criteria.
Previous experience and/or demonstrated motivation to work with children and young people.
Current unrestricted Australian drivers’ licence.
Current paid Working with Children Check.
Clear and current National Criminal History Check (Junction Support Services will complete the check for you)
Current First Aid Certificate.
Willingness to undertake all mandatory training and professional development, as determined by the organisation.
