At Sydney Health & Care Services (SHCS), we support people to live with dignity, choice, and independence. We're now looking for experienced and reliable Residential Care Workers to join our Supported Independent Living (SIL) team.

🏠 About the Role

This is a hands-on, part-time role (30+ hrs/week) supporting participants with complex physical, cognitive, and/or psychosocial needs in a residential setting.
You’ll provide a mix of personal care, daily living assistance, and help clients build life skills – all while working closely with a dedicated team of support staff.

✅ What You’ll Be Doing

Provide personal care: showering, grooming, continence, dressing, and mobility

Support medication prompts, health routines, and behavioural strategies

Assist with domestic tasks: meal prep, laundry, cleaning

Foster independence, confidence, and routine in daily living

Document care activities and follow individualised plans

Work across multiple homes with varying client needs and staff teams

👤 About You

Previous experience in SIL, disability, mental health, or aged care settings

Comfortable supporting complex clients with behavioural or high personal care needs

Confident working independently and in team-based environments

Flexible to work across different sites and shifts

Committed to consistent, reliable care delivery

📋 Must-Haves

Cert III or IV in Disability, Individual Support or similar

NDIS Worker Screening Check

Current First Aid & CPR

Driver’s licence + own vehicle

COVID-19 & Flu vaccinations (as per health directives)

Availability for early, evening, weekend and/or sleepover shifts
