My client is a reputable financial services organisation based in Orange NSW. They are a small team that deeply care about their people and want them to develop and grow with the organisation.

The Opportunity

Reporting to an experienced and supportive leader, you will be responsible for a combination of financial and management accounting duties including, but not limited to:

Month-end accounting duties

Preparation of monthly and quarterly management reporting

Preparation of half-year/annual papers for reporting purposes

Providing commercial insights to drive business performance

Accounts payable, payroll processing and journal entries

Tax compliance support inc. BAS, FBT, Income Tax

Balance sheet reconciliations and cashflow management

If you have ever felt pigeonholed in your role or wished you could take on more then this is a fantastic role for you. We are looking for a very capable accountant that likes to work hard and wants to develop and learn new skills.

About you

We will consider junior people wanting to grow into the role or senior people looking for more leadership

Minimum three years of experience in an accounting related role within a chartered environment or commercial organisation.

Financial services industry experience would be a bonus but is not required

CA/CPA qualified or part qualified

Excellent communicator, both written and verbal

A strong team player with a positive attitude and proactive approach to work

Strong business acumen and ability to deal with business challenges as they arise
