Port Maintenance Planner

Site based FIFO role.

Roster: 5/2/4/3, 12hr days.

We are looking to hear from trade-qualified, SAP-proficient Maintenance Planners, with Port experience.

This role is site-based providing contract planning and scheduling services to a Tier-1 mining organisation in Western Australia.

As an experienced maintenance planner, you will be well-versed with Port assets (reclaimers, shiploaders, dumpers, etc.) and the role. To recap, the key elements of the position are:

Planning of maintenance tasks in SAP: Capturing improvements, developing estimations of resource requirements, and ordering materials.

Ensuring client Work Management processes and practices are adhered to: Develop work plans that deliver optimal efficiency.

Prioritising emergent work: Working closely with Supervisors, Superintendents, and external departments/OEMs.

Developing scheduled maintenance forecasts: Minimising business impact by effectively packaging maintenance activities.

Facilitating routine site maintenance planning meetings: Covering weekly schedules, shutdowns, component forecasting, and resource allocation.

Required Skills and Experience

Trade qualified, or significant experience (essential)

High-level SAP proficiency (essential)

Demonstrated Ports (shiploaders, dumpers, reclaimers, etc.) maintenance planning experience (essential)*

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills (essential)

Self-directed and proactive with a high level of initiative (essential)

Previous maintenance planning exposure with a Tier-1 mining organisation (highly desirable)
