The Role
The IT Network Coordinator will ensure that IT network is meeting operational business needs. A key part of the role is working with internal stakeholders to scope requested network projects and activities.
This role will be involved ensuring that 3rd party technical vendors follow our established IT network standards, and work with established solutions and coordinating network operational remediation activities.
This role requires a blend of technical understanding and strong coordination skills to manage third-party vendors executing network-related work. This will suit someone who has high- level technical knowledge in networking solutions and experience in project coordination.
This is a Permanent, Full-time (38 hours per week) position located in the State Administration Office in South Brisbane.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
• A solid background in IT Networking. Formal qualifications in IT networking will be highly regarded.
• Experience working in IT networking projects as a coordinator or a non-technical facilitation role.
• This role will require regular day travel in Southeast QLD and occasional overnight travel throughout the state. Ability to drive essential.
• Experience and confidence in engaging with internal stakeholders.
• Experience and confidence in engaging with IT vendors.
• Demonstrated understanding of networking solutions, including. i. Knowledge of the range of network product types and their uses including WAN, LAN, WI-FI and VOIP.
