Position: Retail Manager (Full Time)

Salary: $75,000 to $80,000

To be considered for this role you will need to have

· Minimum of 1 year experience in Oporto as a Retail Manager or 2 years as a Shift Manager (Level 3b)

· Experience of labour and expense control

· You must have a strong administration skills

· Store is Open 7 days a week and the successful candidate must be available full time and flexible in there working hours.

· Must have an ability to effectively supervise a team

· Experience in food safety and hygiene processes

Responsibilities of a Retail Manager.

· Overall Performance of the store including QSC Standards, Sales, Profit, Staff Retention and adherence to labour laws and food safety standards.

· Ensure Gross Profit is maintained as budgeted.

· Holding Controllable P&L line items within budget and reconciling the Period P&L.

· Recruiting and retention of an adequate level of staff and managers who are dedicated to customer satisfaction.

· Preparing Staff Rosters

· Liaising with the payroll accountant and bookkeeper and ensure the records are accurately maintained.

· Training managers, staff trainers and helping to train the trainees.

· Recording documentation in staff personal files.

· Giving Input on Staff Performance reviews, responsible for performance appraisals and wage reviews.

· Completing weekly inventories and statistical (or variance) reports.

· Oversee whether all Oporto Food Safety Policies and procedures are met, ensuring Food Safety Record Book is maintained appropriately.

· Maintaining store OH&S awareness and records.

· Executing staff incentives and maintaining the staff communication/notice board.

· Completing assigned daily, weekly and monthly equipment calibrations.

· Calculating the store Build To's and ordering food, packaging and operating supplies

· Gathering customer feedback and determining patterns and trends. Initiating specifications to continuously improve total customer satisfaction.

· Organising the store's monthly activities calendar to achieve store objectives.

· Completing and posting the weekly staff roster.

· Reconciling all bank deposits with the bank statements.

· Creating Action Plans based on Store Reviews conducted by Oporto’s Business Development Manager.
