Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs using Java (Spring Boot).

Develop CRUD functionalities and business logic for customer data management.

Collaborate with solution architects, DevOps, and front-end developers for seamless integration.

Ensure high performance and responsiveness of APIs through scalable designs.

Write unit, integration, and API tests using JUnit, Mockito, and Spring Test.

Handle API documentation with Swagger/OpenAPI.

Follow best practices for clean code, error handling, and secure coding.

Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development.

Proficient in JPA/Hibernate with hands-on SQL experience (PostgreSQL preferred).

Solid understanding of HTTP, JSON, DTO mapping, exception handling, and logging.

Familiar with Git, Maven, Postman, and Agile development.

Experience with JWT authentication and Spring Security is a plus.

Strong testing mindset with exposure to CI/CD and code reviews.
