The Company
This company is a well-established civil and manufacturing business delivering integrated supply and installation solutions for large-scale retaining wall projects. The Role
- Manage subcontracts from execution to closeout
- Liaise with subcontractors daily to ensure scopes are clear and progress is tracked
- Assist the PM with execution of head contracts and associated client communication
- Maintain detailed records of variations, amendments, and delivery schedules
- Control project documentation and ensure clean data entry
- Use Procore to manage contract workflows and compliance
- Monitor plant allocation and background cost tracking
- Support monthly reporting and project financials
- Contribute to a positive team dynamic and help spot issues before they escalate
- Work autonomously while remaining heavily engaged with the team
- Take full ownership of contract admin and ensure subcontractors know who you are
The Person
- Prior Contract Admin experience in construction, civil, or subcontractor settings
- Strong administration, attention to detail, and document control capability
- Confident communicator – must be comfortable engaging with subcontractors
- High personal drive – must take initiative and follow up without being asked
- Experience with Procore, Microsoft Office, and Excel preferred
- Site experience or understanding of civil installation work is highly desirable
- Ability to read plans and understand construction terminology (advantageous)
- Must be team-first, collaborative, and comfortable working from the office daily
- Willing to ask questions, chase answers, and get involved
- The PM is open to mentoring – attitude, ownership, and consistency are essential
The Package
- $80,000 – $90,000 + Super (negotiable on experience)
- Fuel card after probation
- Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm
- Office-based role in Narangba
- Quarterly social events (company boat days)
- Friday afternoon knock-offs
- Long-term development pathway into PM role for the right person
