About the role

THE Mining is seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Civil Plumber to join our team in Holtze NT 0829. This is a full-time permanent role for the right applicant that will be responsible for the installation of new PE lines and upgrading existing plumbing systems across the Robertson Barracks Site.

What you'll be doing

Read and interpret plans to install, replace and repair plumbing systems

Cute, assemble and install pipes with attention to existing infrastructure

Poly butt welding/fusion welding

Liaise with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate plumbing work

Ensure all work meets relevant building codes and safety standards

Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work undertaken

Provide support and mentorship to fellow employees

What we're looking for

Qualified plumber with a Certificate III in Plumbing or equivalent

HPDE & Poly Welding tickets preferable

Minimum 5 years' experience as a commercial civil plumber

Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills

Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Committed to maintaining a safe work environment

Ability to obtain a DCAC - Defence Common Access Card (pass a Police Check)
