About this opportunity:
Maintain safety, environmental, and quality outcomes for operators and users of the Council's plant and fleet. This position will work under general direction and provide supervision to a small Proactive Maintenance Team as well as providing planning and technical support to the proactive operations of the workshops.
Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Diploma (preferred); or
- Certificate III or IV; or
- Lesser formal qualifications combined with substantial relevant experience.
- Base annual salary of $ 88 774
- Up to 18% superannuation (conditions apply).
- Choice of 4 or 5 weeks' annual leave with 17.5% leave loading.

- Qualifications in Project Management, Asset Management, Mechanical Trade qualification or other relevant field:
- General Construction White Card.
- QLD Heavy Rigid Truck 'HR' Class Licence or interstate equivalent.
- Approved Examiner Accreditation to enable the understanding of inspections in accordance with the Transport Operations (Road Use Management - Vehicle Standards & Safety) Regulation 2010 for all plant up to 16.0 tonne
