What your day will look like….

Your day will start by embracing and modelling the values of Darling Downs Health, ensuring that all actions align with the service's core principles. You'll deliver high-quality clinical care to inpatients, outpatients, and emergency department patients under the guidance of Senior Medical Officers at Goondiwindi Hospital and the Southern region. Throughout the day, you'll participate in clinical meetings, training, and tutorials, and contribute to weekly teaching presentations. You'll be responsible for accurate and timely documentation, coordinating patient care, arranging investigations, and liaising with general practitioners for discharge planning. Additionally, you'll engage in ongoing education, quality assurance activities, and help maintain the hospital's clinical governance standards.

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $150,240 (L9) comprising salary rates between $129,583 (L4) and $150,240 p.a. (L9), professional development allowance, professional development leave 1.6 weeks p.a., and professional indemnity cover. Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value.
