What your day will look like….

You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals, working together to provide holistic care to patients requiring subacute medical support. Your day will involve meaningful interactions with patients and their families, coordinating care plans, reviewing investigations, and ensuring seamless communication with community GPs. You'll contribute to timely admissions and discharges, participate in case discussions, and have opportunities to expand your knowledge in geriatric medicine. Whether you're consulting on complex cases or mentoring junior staff, your work will make a real difference in the lives of older adults across the Darling Downs region.

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up from $297,448 (L13) up to $485,592 (L27) comprising salary rates between $87.25 (L13) and $127.77 p.h. (L27), motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., regional attraction allowance, professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements. Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value.
