In collaboration with the Manager, Coronial Family Service, the role is responsible for clinical governance; the coordination of service delivery, human and material management, advanced team communication, to deliver safe, quality, effective and efficient service delivery.
Key Competencies:
- Demonstrate strategic and operational skills, planning, knowledge and ability in delivering safe quality health care provision for specialty area/s of responsibility.
- Demonstrate ability in effective and efficient fiscal management for area/s of responsibility including the application and deliverable of the Business Planning Framework.
- Demonstrate skills and knowledge in analysis of data and trending to improve patient outcomes and financial responsibility.
- Demonstrate understanding of quality improvement frameworks, processes and systems in delivering safe quality healthcare.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills in workforce development in supporting capacity and capability of staff.
- Demonstrate the application of expertise in research and evidence based practice.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of contemporary nursing theory, practice, treatments and outcomes.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge in the application of management and safe effective holistic care.
- Specialist areas of expertise
- Demonstrate experience in collaboratively designing solutions with key stakeholders, awareness of engagement techniques and success measurement.
- Experience in strategy development and execution
- Demonstrate ability to provide strategic leadership, management and expert advice, in the Health care delivery space including clinical redesign, budget integrity and analysis reporting.
- Demonstrate high level knowledge and ability to analyse concepts and strategies and high level conceptual and problem-solving ability to analyse evidence, and to provide advice on policies, strategy and innovative solutions with respect to best practice patient care and Divisional management.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills including conflict resolution, negotiation, consultation and communication skills to deal with the needs and concerns of internal stakeholders and health service partners, including the ability to manage people and situations flexibly and responsively.
