We are a Boutique - Chartered Accounting TAX firm located in Armadale, Melbourne. The firm has experienced stellar growth and services a range of local and international clients.

Work directly with the partner of the firm to provide AAA+++ service to our valued clients. Fantastic training and development opportunities offered, including a generous Bonus structure. Firm has many Asian clients Vietnamese + Chinese. Ability to speak 2nd language, Mandarin and/or Vietnamese is a plus but not a requirement.

Salary Gross $70,000 + Super + Bonus

We are looking for a tax accountant to join our growing team.

Commencement February 2024.

About the role:

Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships and SMSFs

Report to Director of the firm

Tax advisory to clients

International tax

Preparation of Business Activity Statements

Assist clients with Xero and general enquiries

Work with ATO to manage clients needs

Capital Gains Tax calculations

Payroll Tax

BAS - GST statements

Assistance with State and Federal Government Grants

Research & Development Grants

Austrade Export Grants

Assist with firm marketing & be rewarded!

What we seek in a candidate:

1-2+ years experience in a Tax / Business Services role

Completing CA or CPA studies

Strong computer skills

Excellent communication skills

Positive and proactive attitude towards work with a "can do" attitude

Ability to work autonomously

Attention to detail

Team player
