DRD Recruitment are currently working to assist a leading Client in the Mining & Energy space. The role reporting to the Lead Engineer, the Civil Engineer is responsible for working on preliminary engineering design of overhead transmission line, solar farm and wind farm civil packages for the Decarbonisation Energy Projects Team.

The Role:

• Assist the Lead Engineer in the design and analysis of civil engineering designs, including site development, bulk earthworks and drainage systems
• Management of detailed engineering design packages and enabling packages
• Specifying and providing technical input to basis of designs and reviewing/drafting technical reports
• Establishment and continued updating of technical design standards and procedures
• Technically support construction teams with procurement and technical queries
• Manage and implement design changes and optimisation
• Conduct quality checks and reviews of design documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

To be considered for this role you will possess:

• Must have detailed design engineering experience with bulk earthworks
• Engineering Qualification
• Previous experience with Geotechnical design and analysis required
• Onsite construction experience preferred
