About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Meat Worker to join our team at PJ MEATS PTY LTD' in Thomastown, VIC. This is a full-time position that will see you play a crucial role in our meat processing operations.

What you'll be doing

• Efficiently and safely preparing, cutting, and packaging a variety of meat products
• Adhering to strict food safety and quality standards throughout the production process
• Operating and maintaining machinery and equipment used in meat processing
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency
• Working closely with the production team to meet daily targets and deadlines
• Complying with all workplace health and safety policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Significant experience working in a meat processing or manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of meat cutting and processing techniques
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills
