Diesel and Dirt Contracting is partnered with Tier 1 and Tier 2 Clients who specialise in mining and maintenance services who are currently looking for Heavy Duty Diesel Fitters with MEM experience to work on their mobile plant fleets in the Pilbara region.

Field Service Roles Available to the right candidate - minimum 5 years post trade preferably OEM background.

Ability to work on a variety of equipment - Shutdowns

The Roles:

Preventative and breakdown maintenance of all mobile equipment by running diagnostics testing of specialist diesel machinery & equipment (including trucks and ancillary) in a mining environment

Carrying out repairs, maintenance, servicing and managing work orders

Testing engine safety, part upgrades, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventative maintenance and repairing faults

Field Service or Breakdown Experience Highly regarded

High attention to detail regarding personal and team safety

CAT Loaders / Dozers / Graders / Trucks

Komatsu, Liebherr and Hitachi equipment

Diggers up to 600 Ton

Surface Rigs INC PIT Vipers, D65's and CAT MD Series Drills

Skills/Requirements:

Minimum 4 year experience working within mining maintenance

Australian Recognized Trade Certificate

Hold a valid C Class Australian driver license

Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol test

Have legal working rights within Australia
