We’re Hiring: Occupational Therapist (Subcontractor – Hybrid/Flexible)

We’re seeking an independent Occupational Therapist to provide approximately 8 hours per week of non-face-to-face capacity-building support and therapy assistant oversight, with the option to build a larger case load if desired. This role is fully remote and designed to flex around your existing commitments.

About you:

You are confident working with children, teens, and adults

You understand (or are willing to learn) identify-affirming, person-centred practice

You have experience supporting the functional development of individuals with disabilities

You are passionate about empowering people across the lifespan

You’re collaborative, self-motivated, and aligned with a relational, capacity-building approach

You value flexibility, integrity, and connection in your work

Preferred but not essential:

Experience with Functional Capacity Assessments

Familiarity with NDIS processes and report writing

Requirements:

Bachelor/Master of Occupational Therapy

AHPRA registration

ABN (company structure preferred; sole trader also accepted)

Professional indemnity and public liability insurance

NDIS Worker Screening and Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)

NDIS Mandatory Training Certificates (or willingness to complete)

Car license

Reliable internet, laptop, and confidential workspace
