About the Role

As the Solar Department Lead, you’ll be responsible for managing and growing our solar and battery division. This hands-on role includes project design, estimating, and end-to-end project management. You’ll work closely with our management team to drive quality installations, lead small teams, and provide expert solutions for commercial and residential clients.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage solar and battery projects from design to completion

Provide accurate system designs, load analysis, and quotations

Liaise with clients, suppliers, and the internal team to ensure smooth project delivery

Ensure all installations comply with Clean Energy Council (CEC) standards

Mentor and support other team members in solar/battery work

Drive innovation and help shape the future of our renewables department

Requirements

Current Electrical Licence

CEC Accreditation (Design & Install – Solar & Battery) – essential

Proven experience in solar installation and system design

Strong understanding of relevant Australian Standards and Clean Energy Council guidelines

Strong organisational and project management skills

Ability to manage teams and communicate effectively

A commitment to safety and high workmanship standards

Driver’s licence
