Join a Leading Australian-Owned Animal Health Business as a Warehouse Manager - Bendigo, VIC
Our client, based in Bendigo is a 100% Australian-owned and rapidly growing company dedicated to the manufacturing and supply of animal health products. They are now seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead their small warehouse team. This facility acts as a dedicated dispatch and storage hub, and they are looking for someone with strong leadership, inventory control, and freight management skills to take full ownership of day-to-day operations.
Location: Bendigo, VIC
Work Type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 + Super + Discretionary Annual Bonus
Shift Times/Days: Monday - Friday 8AM - 4PM
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and supervise a small team of 3-4 warehouse assistants
- Oversee daily operations: picking, packing, dispatching, and freight bookings
- Manage inventory: stock control, cycle counts, and stocktakes
- Liaise with 3PL providers and internal customer service teams
- Operating counterbalance & reach forklift to load & unload stock
- Maintain WHS compliance and a safe, clean work environment
- Utilise Excel and freight booking systems efficiently
- Monitor and manage inbound freight, ensuring efficient unloading and put-away procedures
- Support the business with continuous improvement ideas
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years' experience in a warehouse or logistics leadership role
- Valid LF Forklift license and Victorian Driver's License
- Confident with Microsoft Excel and/or freight/ERP/WMS systems
- Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously
- Strong communication, team-building, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a hands-on capacity
- Familiarity with WHS, inventory control, and dispatch workflows
