A leading commercial law firm, with over 200 staff in their Brisbane office is seeking a mid level lawyer to join their Construction team. As a key team member, you'll handle front-end construction work with excellent support from a collaborative team and award-winning partners.

THE WORK
This role offers the chance to work on an exciting mix of projects, from smaller-scale developments to major multimillion-dollar construction and infrastructure ventures. You’ll partner with a wide range of clients, including developers, large asset owners, institutional investors, property trusts, contractors, and subcontractors.

The successful candidate will work across tender submissions, funding agreements, project planning, and contract drafting and negotiations (including ECI and EPC contracts) as well as preparing consultancy agreements.

Additionally, there may be opportunities to support the disputes team on litigation matters, giving you even broader exposure across the project lifecycle.

THE IDEAL LAWYER
To excel in this role, you should have:

• 3 to 7 years of PAE with a strong foundation in front-end construction or project matters.
• You should have an understanding of construction law, civil and/or building contract drafting & negotiation as well as project advice.
• Experience in infrastructure agreements is not required but will be highly valued.
