The Role:

We are looking for an accountant who enjoys working closely with clients, building relationships with key stakeholders and supporting junior team members. This role would suit someone who enjoys the advisory element of business services (or wants more of this) but is also happy to work on compliance, and who has a longer-term appetite for leadership!

Duties include:

• Building long-lasting relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients
• Holding face to face meetings with clients
• Confident in providing tailored business advice
• Performing general compliance work
• Developing budgets and financial forecasts
• Management reporting
• Reviewing work and training of junior staff
• Financial modelling and analysis

About you:

• CA or CPA qualified (or overseas equivalent)
• Minimum 2+ years' experience in an Australian public practice firm
• Experience with reviewing the work of others
• Experienced with communicating with clients directly
• Competent with software including Xero and MYOB
