Our client:
Our client is an established boutique accounting advisory firm (15+ staff) that focus on providing advisory services to SME's across varying industries. They are based in Alexandria and parking is available for those who prefer to drive to work.

This firm is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a young and vibrant team. This role is open to strong intermediate accountants who are keen to take the next step. This role will be great for someone who is interested in working closely with successful businesses and like to think outside the box. There is ample opportunity for career progression and an opportunity to grow into a director.

Role and responsibility:

• Correspond with team to assess workflow and targets
• Look after portfolio of clients for the preparation of Financial Statements and Tax Returns for Individuals, Partnerships, Trusts and Companies
• Prepare and/or Review of Business Activity Statements
• Correspond with the tax authorities when required
• Pitch in for matters relating to full-cycle accounting when required
• Delegate foundational tasks to offshore teams to optimize productivity and focus on high-value activities
• Coach and mentor our accountants

Requirements

• The successful candidate will have 3+ years experience in business services accounting
• CPA/CA certification is highly regarded, not essential
• Xero software experience highly regarded
• Excellent relationship and communication skills are essential
• Problem solving skills and able to think outside the box
• MUST have strong Business Services Accounting Skills
