About the Role

We are seeking Expressions of Interest for a Design and Construction (D&C) Procurement Manager to join a high-profile infrastructure project. Reporting to the Procurement Lead, you will play a pivotal role in planning, sourcing, and managing relationships with suppliers, contractors, and consultants. This position is central to the successful delivery of the D&C package and associated procurement activities, with a strong emphasis on fostering sustainable and ethical practices throughout all stages of the process.

Responsibilities will include:

• Leading strategic procurement activities for D&C construction packages and associated services
• Advising on the selection of consultants, contractors, and suppliers to support project delivery
• Managing end-to-end procurement processes, including EOIs, RFPs, and BAFOs
• Collaborating with technical teams to develop robust and compliant tender documentation
• Negotiating and executing procurement agreements, ensuring appropriate risk allocation
• Coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely and effective contract implementation
• Ensuring adherence to internal procurement policies while promoting ethical standards
• Supporting the integration of sustainable and socially responsible procurement principles
• Complying with health and safety requirements across all procurement activities
• Being available to travel interstate and to rural locations as required

About You

To be successful, you will have a bachelor's degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering, supported by relevant postgraduate qualifications-ideally a master's in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field. You will bring proven experience managing high-value procurement processes in excess of $500M, with a strong grasp of D&C/EPC contracting frameworks and commercial models. Your expertise will include cost estimation, budget control, and supplier management across complex projects. Familiarity with procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba is desirable, along with a demonstrated ability to negotiate and implement large-scale procurement agreements. You will also possess sound knowledge of applicable standards, legislation, and compliance requirements, as well as experience with Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) processes. A strong commitment to integrating local and social procurement strategies into project delivery will round out your profile.
