Summary. Core Electronics is an online DIY electronics retailer based in Newcastle and we operate via core-electronics.com.au. This position suits applicants interested in Customer Service within the DIY electronics industry.

We use various resources such as phones, live chat, email and support forums to engage with our customers pre and post-sale.

A background in DIY electronics would be beneficial. Please share your experience in your cover letter.

Casual position, 5+ hours per day (Mon-Fri ex-public holidays). Operational hours are between 830am and 5pm. Please do not apply if you can't work at least two weekdays (10+ hours per week).

A minimum of 5 hours on Mondays (ex-public holidays) is non-optional as that's our busiest day. Other days are based on your availability.

This position in our Support Team includes duties such as:

• Assisting customers with pre and post-sale
• Managing warranty and returns administration
• Capturing and making improvements on our website
• Assessing returned parts for serviceability
• Product evaluation (evaluating new gear from our distribution partners)
• Assisting with electronics manufacturing and kitting

No formal qualifications are required - however - DIY electronics experience will be highly regarded. The position is ideal for someone who honestly enjoys the maker/electronics lifestyle and the creative freedoms of maker industry culture (check our socials!)

We are an online store. However, you will need to be able to commute to our warehouse in Adamstown, 2289.
