Small Engine Mechanic – Mobile Plant

Location: Port Hedland, WA

Tutt Bryant Hire is one of Australia's leading hire companies with branches across Australia. We provide plant and equipment hire to a variety of industries from general earthmoving, civil construction, mining and rail maintenance, industrial services and tradies.

We are seeking an experienced person for the position of Small Engine Mechanic – Mobile Plant based out of our Port Hedland branch.

The skills and experience required for this role are:

· Must have successfully completed an AQF Qualification either a Certificate IV relevant to the position or formal training that is comparable. At least 3 years of relevant work experience may substitute for this qualification;

· At least 12 months relevant skilled work experience as a small engine mechanic

· Experience in performing scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups

· Experience in detecting and diagnosing faults in engines and parts

· Experience repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembles mechanical components

· Safe working track record

· Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

· Ability to work unsupervised and to work within a team environment

· Valid Australian Drivers Licence

An attractive remuneration package is on offer for this full-time position with a base salary of $85,000 - $100,000 gross per annum (depending on the level of experience) and other company-provided items and benefits.
