The Role
Fabbrica Bread Shop is on the lookout for a Sandwich hand and Prep Chef with personality and a passion for all things baked.
About the Role
At the heart of our venue is energy, connection, and a love of great food and great people. As our sandwich & bulk prep chef you'll work closely with our Head and Sous baker to ensure smooth and efficient running of the sandwich and prep section with room for creative freedom and menu development for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations- Garnishing focaccias and assembling sandwiches, to our cafe's high standards, quickly, efficiently and as needed.
During busy periods, you will be responsible for operating the service oven for warming products, managing the dockets and working closely with FOH team to ensure smooth service.
Bulk Preperation - Manage and execute bulk prep jobs such as sausage roll production, fillings, custards, vegetable processing and any other cooking assistance required by the baking team.
Stock Management - Ensuring all ingredients are ordered, stored and prepared correctly for your section and your prep jobs.
Safety & Compliance: Must be comfortable working with and tasting a wide range of ingredients, as quality control is a key responsibility of this role. Ensuring all products meet strict food safety and compliance standards is essential.
What We’re Looking For
Valid working rights in Australia. Must be available to work weekends.
Minimum 1 year experience in a similar environment. You must be comfortable working in kitchens and have experience in food handling, with strong food safety knowledge.
Good communication skills, with a solid sense of initiative and ability to manage your tasks and your time.
