About the role
We are currently seeking fully registered Occupational Therapists to join our team, with opportunities available in both Melbourne's western suburbs. The role offers flexibility, with the possibility of part-time or full-time engagement.
As a valued Occupational Therapist at EISS, you will:
Plan, deliver, and evaluate discipline-specific clinical services across various settings, including schools, social groups, community programs, and home visits.
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and guide therapy assistants to deliver effective play-based therapy.
Complete assessments and prepare detailed reports for individual clients.
Work one-on-one with clients to deliver safe, personalised therapy programs in home-based or school settings.
Contribute to a professional, positive, and ethical work environment to continually improve our practice's processes and procedures.
About you: Our Ideal Candidate
Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
Current registration with APHRA
Valid Driver’s licence and access to a car
Police check (or prepared to obtain)
Working with Children Check (or prepared to obtain)
A commitment to providing high-quality, safe, and person-centred care
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team spirit
Empathetic and compassionate towards clients facing physical and emotional challenges
Skilled at encouraging client participation and overcoming resistance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience within the Disability Sector is highly desirable
