We are looking for a committed, hardworking Warehouse and Admin Assistant to help us achieve our goals with their focus being on the inventory and admin aspect of our business located in the Melbourne office.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a Warehouse and Admin Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the Inventory and Procurement Manager to coordinate inventory, including receiving, storing, counting and dispatching goods.
In this full-time role, you will be responsible for:
· Loading/unloading shipment, receiving and inspecting incoming goods.
· Maintaining accurate inventory records.
· Regularly updating and checking product images in the inventory system.
· Organising and storing items systematically.
· Performing regular cycle stock count as requested by the supervisor.
· Preparing and packing daily orders for dispatch, including drop off parcels to nearby Post Offices and clients.
· Ensuring the store area is clean and well organised.
· Providing excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
· Assisting with other warehouse and administrative duties such as invoicing and processing documents.
· Additional ad-hoc tasks as required.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
To be considered for this full-time role, you will need to meet the following requirements:
· Must have full working rights within Australia with no restrictions (Permanent Australian Resident or Australian Citizen).
· Available to work between 8:00am to 4:00pm (Monday to Friday)
· Australian Driver’s Licence (class C) and Forklift Licence is essential
· Previous warehouse experience
· Willing to undergo medical test at your own cost to ensure you are medically cleared and fit to handle/lift stock (note, any physical lifting will be required to be undertaken between two employees).
· Highly organised and efficient – a self-starter who can work autonomously and part of a team while adhering to reporting deadlines.
· Strong numeracy and communication skills – both written and verbal.
· Strong command of Microsoft and Outlook suite
· Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and IT literacy.
· A proactive and ambitious approach to problem solving.
· Honest, reliable, adaptable and committed work ethic.
· Strong adherence to processes and occupational health and safety protocols.
