Are you a compassionate and skilled professional with experience in handling challenging behaviour? We are seeking dedicated male and female support workers to join our team in the Sunshine Coast area.

Responsibilities:

Provide personalised support to individuals exhibiting challenging behaviour.

Provide personalised support to individuals to access the community.

Provide personalised support to individuals to identify activities in the community.

Implement strategies to manage and de-escalate physical and verbal aggression.

Ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals in your care.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and execute care plans.

Maintain accurate documentation of incidents and progress.

Requirements:

Proven experience in supporting individuals with challenging behaviour.

Demonstrated ability to manage and respond effectively to physical and verbal aggression.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude.

Relevant qualifications or certifications in support work or related fields are preferred.

Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
