About the role

Dental Members Australia seeks an experienced part-time (4 days per week) Dental Assistant to join our team in Robina, Queensland. As a vital member of our dental practice, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dentists and providing exceptional patient care. With your expertise and passion for the dental industry, you will ensure the smooth and efficient running of our practice.

What you'll be doing

Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising equipment to maintain a clean and organised environment

Assisting dentists during procedures by passing instruments, mixing materials, and providing suction

Ensuring patient comfort and addressing any concerns or questions they may have

Maintaining detailed patient records and updating treatment notes

Performing front desk duties as required such as scheduling appointments and processing payments

Ordering and managing dental supplies to keep the practice well-stocked

Adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant, preferably in a similar sized dental practice

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and team members

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to handle a variety of tasks efficiently

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sterilisation

Proficiency in using dental equipment and software, with the ability to learn new systems quickly

A genuine passion for the dental industry and a desire to provide exceptional patient care
