Your day as an Assistant Buyer:

Providing support and assistance to the Buyer.

Analysis of business opportunities and identify potential clients.

Managing supplier liaison.

Running general ad-hoc reports as required with accuracy.

Managing fit sessions.

Comp shop analysis.

Involvement in story board management.

Completing advertising briefs.

Preparing financial figures.

Some things we are looking for in an Assistant Buyer:

Proven experience working in a similar role within the retail industry.

Previous experience with apparel.

Strong Administration experience.

Product Development experience will be highly regarded.

A passion for the product that is balanced with commercial acumen.

Able to communicate at all levels.

Ability to manage tight deadlines.

Show initiative to contribute to a team in order to grow your portfolio.

Flexible in your approach.

Exceptional organisation skills and attention to detail.

Be achievement orientated and results driven.

Enjoy working as part of a team.

Have a down to earth attitude and able to put yourself in the customers shoes.

Be resourceful and adaptable.
