Solution Architect
Perth (3 Days In-Office + Ad Hoc Travel)
Daily Rate: $1,026.08 - $1,134.00

Our Client is currently seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to join their Frontline Digital team based in Perth. This is a critical role within a major digital transformation project, supporting all phases of the project lifecycle—from ideation through to project closure—within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

The position requires a hybrid working arrangement with a minimum of three days per week in the Perth office and ad hoc travel to various office sites for stakeholder engagement and project-related visits. Please note that this role does not offer sponsorship and applicants must have the right to work in Australia.

Key Responsibilities
As the Solution Architect, you will:

• Business requirements and opportunity definitions
• High-Level Design (HLD) and As-Built documentation
• Solution options evaluations and impact analyses

• Project Complexity Assessment Tool (PCAT)
• Service Transition to Support (STS) process documentation
• Vendor evaluations and solution options

• Lead solution architecture efforts across all stages of the project lifecycle: Ideate, Initiate, Plan, Execute & Verify, and Close
• Develop, review, and maintain detailed architectural documentation including:
  
• Ensure all solution designs align with enterprise governance, Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) standards, enterprise architecture frameworks, and cybersecurity principles
• Represent the solution architecture function during design reviews, presentations, and approvals with Enterprise Architecture teams, Cybersecurity, project peers, and other stakeholders
• Provide expert technical input for project documentation such as:
  
• Collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders, including business units, technical teams, and project management office (PMO) personnel to ensure architectural alignment and business value delivery
• Champion continuous improvement by adopting and applying emerging and digital technologies to optimise frontline and operational processes

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Extensive experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar role, with proven expertise in application, data, or integration architecture
• Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, ArchiMate, UML, and Cisco Architecture principles
• Experience working within large-scale, complex organisations and multi-disciplinary projects, ideally including exposure to mining operations or frontline workforce digital solutions
• Strong understanding of governance, security, and enterprise architecture standards, ensuring compliance throughout the solution lifecycle
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels
• Demonstrated ability to self-manage, multitask, and prioritize competing initiatives in a fast-paced project environment
• Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
• Availability to work from the Perth office three days per week, with flexibility for occasional travel to other office or project sites as required
• Right to work in Australia without sponsorship
