Our client are a specialist manufacturer, supplier and installer of a broad range of architectural metalwork projects to the construction industry. Projects include cladding, balustrades, Louvres etc on large projects to well-known industry names.

Due to new projects in and around Adelaide they are now looking for an enthusiastic Project Engineer to join their team. Reporting to the Project Manger the role with encompass:

• Supervising/Managing the day-to-day activities of subcontractors and implementing WHS practices and ensuring project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget

• Management of several projects concurrently ensuring delivery of scope within timeframes and budget

• Assist with site verification or site dimensioning; including visiting the site to confirm that the actual condition matches the drawings

• Coordinate/expedite deliveries to site

• Reviews status reports and modifies schedules or plans as needed

• Be responsible for cost accounting of actual vs. estimated material and labor

• Prepares project reports for management, client or others

• Regularly attending site meetings, liaising & building and maintaining strong work relationship with multiple stakeholders like senior management, clients, builders, site representatives etc

• Identify and communicate risks as they arise and provide solutions to mitigate them

• Maintain quality control of all the works (scheduling, budgeting, Personnel’s performance, Plans etc)

• Participate efficiently in providing assistance and technical support to the team involved

• Assist Accounts department in the Project Costing

Requirements

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Project Engineering role or similar position. A relevant construction qualification will be highly regarded.
