ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a JJ’s HR Truck Driver, you will operate a waste collection vehicle, from the Mount Isa depot.

On a day-to-day basis, this role will require you to service multiple customer sites. You will be working with a safe, modern and reliable fleet, serviced and maintained in our on-site workshops.

We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.

You will enjoy family friendly hours – no more long haul, DIDO or FIFO, as well as great pay rates - particularly for those interested in overtime! Early starts (between 4-6am) and early finishes.

ABOUT YOU

Current HR license

Side arm, rear lift, RORO, hook lift, tanker or front lift truck experience is preferred (however, full training will be provided)

Must be able to structure runs and have an excellent rapport with customers

Commit to JJ’s Waste values and be willing to embrace workplace diversity

Be dedicated to achieving high standards of safety compliance

Be subject to a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing

Able to provide your last 5 years’ traffic history at interview stage

Well-developed people and relationship skills
