About the Opportunity
This role is part of small team that looks after the functionality and maintenance of City of Darwin’s civil and building infrastructure across the municipality. The (Senior) Coordinator Building Services will lead, develop and oversee the implementation of programmed and reactive maintenance services for new and existing buildings and facilities ensuring they are fit for purpose, complaint with relevant standards and safe for use, while meeting City of Darwin's strategic outcomes and community needs. The role is responsible for planning, organising, scheduling, procurement, stakeholder liaison and execution of works, primarily through contracted resources.
The position receives a base salary of $ 104,792.18 per annum pus superannuation. Additional benefits include district allowance and generous leave provisions, such as six weeks annual leave. About you
We are looking for someone who has extensive knowledge of property and building management, has the relevant trade qualifications, excellent communication skills and an ability to engage in effective stakeholder relations. You will be experience in delivery of works programs and a sound understanding of Workplace Health and Safety requirements.
To be successful, you must hold:
Level 7 Classification
Diploma Level Qualifications in a relevant discipline or field and / or equivalent experience
Minimum of five (5) years relevant operational experience
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in an operational leadership / supervisory role
Possession of a Class C Drivers Licence
General Construction Industry – White Card
National Police Records Check
