Are you detail-oriented, hands-on, and interested in the healthcare and biomechanics field? We are looking for a Part-Time/Casual Orthotic Lab Technician to join our supportive and skilled team in a dynamic orthotics lab.

About the Role

As an Orthotic Lab Technician, you'll play a crucial role in the fabrication and modification of custom orthotic devices. You’ll be working with materials like EVA, thermoplastics, 3D printed materials and carbon composites to produce high-quality, patient-specific orthotics that improve mobility and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the fabrication, adjustment, and finishing of custom orthotic devices

Work with CNC routers, 3D foot scans, grinders, advanced design software, and other lab equipment

Maintain cleanliness and safety in the lab environment

Ensure quality control standards are consistently met

Collaborate with orthotists and clinical staff to ensure specifications are followed accurately

What We’re Looking For

Experience in a lab or workshop setting preferred (but training can be provided)

Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Punctual, reliable, and committed to producing high-quality work

Interest in healthcare, orthotics, podiatry, or related fields is a plus
