We’re seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a full-time Tactile Ground Surface Indicator (TGSI) Installer.

About Us
We’re a small, family-run business based in Maddington. Our team currently includes three staff members — one full-time installer and one full-time workshop team member. We’re now looking to add a second full-time installer to help with duties both on-site and in the workshop.

We maintain a relaxed and easy-going work environment where everyone contributes and gets the job done without fuss or workplace drama. While our approach is casual, our standards are high — we take pride in doing things properly the first time. As a small team, every person's work ethic directly affects the rest of the group, so we expect each team member to give their best effort consistently.

What are TGSIs?
Tactile Ground Surface Indicators (TGSIs) are textured ground tiles installed in public spaces to assist people with vision impairments. These tiles provide essential guidance and warning cues through their raised patterns, helping to make communities safer and more inclusive. As a TGSI Installer, your work plays a direct role in supporting accessibility and public safety across Perth.

About the Role:
This hands-on role involves the installation of TGSI tiles on a range of civil construction and local government sites. You’ll be working independently and occasionally supporting the workshop team when time allows.

Key Responsibilities:

Load your work vehicle each morning with TGSI tiles and materials

Drive to and from job sites

Install TGSI tiles accurately and efficiently

Assist in the workshop with general duties as needed

Maintain tools, vehicle, and workspace in a clean and organised manner

Requirements:

Fit and healthy – the role involves regular bending and lifting

Strong time management and communication skills

Ability to work independently with initiative

Neat, tidy, and detail-focused work ethic

Current driver’s licence

White Card (or willingness to obtain one before starting)

Available for immediate start

Desirable:

Tiling experience is not required, but will be looked upon favourably

Work references to verify past experience and reliability
